As long as I can remember, I’ve been a queen at DIY beauty. Naturally talented at doing my own nails, hair, & brows, I’ve even successfully cut my own BANGS in college. Yes…I said it! Cut them myself with a little help from YouTube, and you ladies know that is not a task for the faint of heart! I’ve even had my fun with bridal makeup artistry & would be named “Most Likely to Be Overdressed” by all of my friends & family.
So, where does the accounting come in? Well, I’ve always been a math whiz, so shortly into college, I figured out that I was also a boss in accounting. I ran with this and went full force into my accounting career & along the way found a passion for business strategy. My entire life, I never knew how my creative side & intellectual side would coexist.
One pandemic later, and The Chic CPA was born combining my passion & my skill. So here I am! Ready to help my fellow beauty & fashion bosses glow up their business finances.

I attended undergrad at the University of Louisville in Kentucky where I realized my first childhood dream of being a world national champion Louisville cheerleader. (If you haven’t heard of us, YouTube is waiting for you!) There I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & finally gave country music a chance.
I am a California licensed CPA, Board Member of the California Board of Accountancy, with years of extensive tax education. I have a diversified accounting & finance background with experience in business & personal tax preparation, external auditing, SEC financial reporting, and retail operations which have sharpened my problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strategic analysis, respectively. I have worked with a range of businesses & industries from global, public companies with $2 billion in revenues to non-profits & small businesses alike.
Through the years, I have found a passion for helping women grow their small businesses and encouraging entrepreneurship for those bold enough to create their own destiny!
